Counselling & Kinesiology – Support That Meets You Where You Are

No two people who walk through my door are in the same place, and that's exactly how I approach the work. What you need from a session won't look like what someone else needs, and I think that matters more than most people realise.

Counselling kinesiology sessions are built around you and where you are right now, emotionally, mentally and energetically. We focus what it would take to get you to where you actually want to be.

Sometimes that means looking back. Not to rehash old ground or sit in pain, but because understanding where something started can completely change how we relate to it today. Awareness shifts things. And when things shift, we get choices we didn't have before.

 

A bit about how I work

I'm formally trained in both Counselling and Kinesiology, which means I can genuinely weave the two together rather than just dabbling in one or the other.

On the counselling side, I draw on evidence-based, trauma-informed frameworks, practical approaches that actually support real change in how we think, feel and behave. On the kinesiology side, we bring the body into the conversation. Because your body holds a lot. It carries stress, patterns, memory, and it will often point us toward what needs attention before your conscious mind catches up.

Some people come in needing structure and a clear framework to work through. Others find the energy-based work is what really moves things for them. Most sessions end up being a blend of both, shaped around what you're bringing and what your system responds to.

 

Balanced, Grounded, and Holistic

I like to say I'm a bit of a halfway hippy. I have deep respect for evidence-based counselling practice, and I equally believe in the intelligence of the body and the energy systems within it. I don't think those two things are in conflict. I think that's actually where the good stuff lives.

What that means for you is support that's both practical and whole-person. You won't just get strategies, you'll get someone who sees the full picture of what you're carrying.
